Click Register on the homepage, fill in your details, and verify your email if prompted. Once registered you can log in to the game straight away.
Where do I download the game client?+
Head to the Download section on the homepage. The full installer is around 3.2 GB. If you have trouble downloading, ask in our Discord.
How do I connect to the server after installing?+
Run the patcher first to make sure your client is up to date, then launch the game executable included in the installer. The client is already pre-configured to connect to Payon Town — no manual setup needed.
Is there a new player starter reward?+
Yes! A small starter pack is automatically added to your account when you register. Log in and check your storage or character to claim it.
Server Rates & Rules
What are the server rates?+
Base EXP: 25x • Job EXP: 25x • Drop Rate: 25x • Boss & Mini-Boss drops: 1x. This keeps leveling fast while keeping MVP looting fair and rewarding.
Is this a Pre-Renewal server?+
Yes. Payon Town runs on Pre-Renewal mechanics with all classic 2nd job and Transcendent classes available.
Are multi-client / multiple accounts allowed?+
A maximum of 3 accounts may be registered per IP address. Running more than 2 clients simultaneously is not allowed. Abuse of multi-clienting for farming or WoE advantages will result in a ban.
What behaviour will get me banned?+
Hacking, botting, exploiting bugs, harassing other players, selling accounts, and any form of real-money trading (RMT) outside the official shop are all bannable offences. If you find a bug, report it to an admin instead of exploiting it.
When is War of Emperium (WoE)?+
WoE is held on Saturday and Sunday. Exact times are announced in the Discord #announcements channel. Check there for any schedule changes.
Shop & Donations
What can I buy in the shop?+
The shop sells cosmetic costumes and appearance items only. Nothing in the shop provides a direct gameplay or stat advantage — it is purely for style.
How do I purchase something from the shop?+
Browse the Shop, click Buy on an item, and follow the instructions. Payment is accepted via GCash or PayPal. Open a Discord ticket after payment and your item will be delivered within 24 hours.
I paid but haven't received my item. What do I do?+
Please open a support ticket in Discord and include your proof of payment, character name, and the item you purchased. An admin will sort it out as soon as possible.
Are refunds available?+
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you purchased the wrong item or experienced a delivery error, contact us on Discord and we will do our best to help.
Technical Help
The game won't launch / I get an error on startup.+
Make sure you ran the patcher before launching. If the problem persists, try running the game executable as Administrator. If you still have trouble, post your error message in the #support channel on Discord.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?+
Log in to the website with your username, go to My Account → Password tab, and change it there. If you cannot log in at all, contact an admin on Discord with proof of ownership.
The game is lagging. What can I do?+
Payon Town is hosted in South East Asia. Players outside the region may experience higher ping. Try using a VPN with a server in SEA, or close background applications that use bandwidth.
